Many years back, quilting became my passion.  That led to the opening of the shop in 1987--and that  was just the beginning of my career in quilting.  Now, in addition to the shop and web store, I design patterns under the History Stitchery label, write books for Krause Publications, design fabrics for Andover fabrics and write shop programs like The International Mystery, Wash Tub Club and Stash Pot Pie. You'll also find patterns from me in popular quilting magazines, and I was thrilled to be named a Top Ten Quilt Shop by American Patchwork and Quilting in 2006.  All of this has been great, but the best thing about quilting is the wonderful people I've met in the last ten years--customers, teachers, shop owners.  Quilters are the best!

Cozy Cottage Fabrics is Southern California's place for fabric, fun and friends. You'll find more than 3000 bolts of fabric and a full service knit shop, with samples galore to inspire your creativity. We also offer secure online shopping that is easy to navigate. Pine Needles Sewing Center, located in Cedar Rapids, is a store and staff guided by our motto, "Let Us Inspire You..." From fabric and notions to machines and sewing furniture, the staff of Pine Needles offers phenomenal education and service to inspire customers to explore all kinds of sewing. Along with being a full Bernina dealership, offering education and service for sewing machines, Pine Needles takes education a step further with programs such as our VIP (Very Important Pinecones) events which are always free to everyone and our Class Ticket, featuring six months of unlimited technique classes for just $60. Quilt Country has recently relocated to a marvelous 7,500 square foot space just across the parking lot from our previous location. Our 13' ceilings and good lighting are perfect for showing off hundreds of models for classes or new books and patterns. Quilt Country has over 10,000 bolts of beautiful fabric, mostly 100% quality quilting fabrics. We also have specialty fabrics such as Dupioni Silk, organza, ultra suede and wool felt. If you love batiks, Quilt Country is the place for you with over 1,800 from which to choose.

Our online shop offers thousands of items including beading and art quilting supplies as well as traditional quilting notions and fabrics.

Welcome! Our store is located in a custom built building in my hometown, just north of Pittsburgh PA. We opened in 1993 and almost immediately began publishing patterns for our most popular projects, including our best selling Reversible Table Runner and Three Pocket Tote. Look for our patterns under The Quilt Company name. We were fortunate to be featured in Quilt Sampler Magazine in 1997 and shortly thereafter I began designing fabric, most recently for Timeless Treasures. My responsibilities include designing fabric collections as well as many of the projects for Timeless Treasures kits, magazine ads and quilt catalogs. Located at the beautiful Jersey Shore, Quilting Possibilities opened in 1995 in a small 1200 square foot shop all because Debbie couldn't find yellow fabric locally to put in her quilts. That lead to a whole new career for both Debbie & Jim. After two moves, we are hopefully where we are going to stay - since the staff threatened to retire if they had to move again! At 5800 square feet & the largest quilt shop in NJ, we are constantly amazed that we often wish for more room to put up "one more display"! A great staff - retirement threats notwithstanding! - make the store a cozy, welcoming place to all levels of quilters. We strive to find the newest, neatest & greatest quilting tools & supplies to bring to our customers in the shop & in the webstore. The Quilters Quarters began with only 300 bolts of fabric and 300 square feet of space. With a lot of hard work and great employees, as well as loyal customers, The Quilters Quarters has grown to over 5500 square feet and thousands of bolts of fabric.

Honored in the Fall 2006 edition of American Patchwork & Quilting as one of the Top Shops, The Quilters Quarters continues to grow.

Housed in an historic building in the First City of Kansas, Leavenworth, The Quilters Quarters has helped create the First City of Quilters in Kansas.

Jerry Stube, owner, is a retired military wife who has traveled the world and understands the need for quality quilting supplies in areas that do not have a quality shop near.

As a charter member of The Patchwork Party, The Quilters Quarters has continued to attract new customers from around the world.

At Quilted Treasures, we like to take a fresh look at traditional quilting. Widely known for enticing displays, our fabric selection includes a variety of vintage reproductions, retro chic, batik, Asian inspired, and of course the latest designer fabrics.  We specialize in kits for all tastes and skill levels. Owner Mary Wilberg takes pride in being the “go-to” shop when quilters need to select fabric for their next project, or just need a quick kit for a gift quilt. While our samples inspire the quilt project, our displays capture the feeling a quilt can give to your home.

Located in the heart of the Northern CA redwood forest, Scottie Dog Quilts endevors to provide quality quilting fabrics and supplies to the fibre artists of Northern CA and beyond. BrendaLou, daughter Liz and granddaughter Sydney are joined by an enthusiastic and knowlegeble staff to help local customers as well as "cyber" friends from the internet. In addition to a full and varied slate of classes, we offer Mystery Quilting Retreats in Spring and Fall and design our own line of quilting patterns. Other interesting information: Stitchin' Heaven is both an Internet shop as well as a brick and mortar store. Opening in 1996 in a 1000 square foot space, it has grown to over 7200 square feet and has developed a reputation for quality. Stitchin' Heaven provides an exceptional level of customer service to their over 20,000 customers worldwide. The owner, Debby Luttrell, is the origiantor of several unique and creative programs like Patchwork Party and QuiltFlix. The Bunkhouse, a 2200 square foot log cabin, was built to host small group retreats and is located just 6 miles from the shop.

After many successful years in Royal Palm Beach, Fl and to be closer to her growing family, Suzanne moved her business to Moultrie, GA in 2006. Her newest endeavor is to launch her own pattern company. With 20 years of teaching quiltmaking we know there are a lot of ideas she is looking forward to putting into cloth and print.
